Fragrant, powerful and with a Galician voice.
In addition to providing us with extraordinary wines, our Albariño grape has allowed us to perpetuate a wise tradition of the region: to produce, since the beginning of the 90s, a double distilled white orujo in our artisanal copper stills.
The origin, our grapes: We have one of the best vineyards of the Albariño variety in Rías Baixas and in all of Galicia. More than 70 hectares located in this privileged wine-growing area, which we maintain throughout the year, offer us grapes of great quality, freshness and acidity for wines with floral aromas, very delicate flavors and remarkable balance. . These characteristics are also found in the bagasse (skins) that we carefully select after each vinification to produce this dry Orujo.
This is how we make it: according to the wise traditional method, our six stills are the scene of the double distillation over direct heat that we carry out very slowly.
are the scene of the double distillation over direct heat, which we carry out very slowly. This eliminates the "heads" and "tails" of the process and selects only the "heart" of the orujo, which is optimal for this extraordinarily fine and creamy eau-de-vie which rests for several months to mature. to balance.
This is how we taste it: Our Orujo Blanco has a crystalline color. Its power is expressed on the nose, where we appreciate balsamic and candied fruit aromas. On the palate, its power and high alcohol content are tempered by the sweetness of glycerin and other higher alcohols, highlighting its sweetness, flesh and length. Its finesse, aroma and explosiveness conquer lovers of this spirit and take us to this magical Galician destination.
How to taste it: Ideal, in small sips, at the end of a meal and at a serving temperature between 0 and 5ºC.
