Finca Montepedroso Verdejo on lees (DO Rueda) is a clean, aromatic and high quality white wine from Rueda, obtained by aging on lees. Velvety and silky, as well as good structure, it represents a great example of fruity wines made from the Verdejo grape variety.
In summary, this is a very good wine with a long and elegant taste, with clear notes of fennel and anise. A modern classic of Rueda wines that goes perfectly with white meats, fish, seafood and sushi.
TASTING OBSERVATIONS
Color: Lemon yellow with frosty green highlights, clean, shiny and with a very glyceric tear.

Nose: Clean and frank aromatic ensemble, of strong intensity where notes of apricot, peach, fennel, green almond shell, anise and fresh fruit stand out (lychee, grapefruit, green apple). Notes of freshly cut hay and light touches of smoke mingle with mineral notes.
Mouth: Velvety and silky entry in the mouth with an evolution towards lots of volume and structure. The balanced acidity gives it freshness and nerve. Long and tasty finish, fruity, with a retronasal sensation even more intense than in its olfactory phase, with notes of fennel and anise.
Accompaniment: Fresh seafood and white fish. Caldero and arroz a banda rice dishes. Gratinated pasta and white meats.
