VINEYARD AND VINIFICATION
DESCRIPTION: Own vineyards located in the municipalities of Roa and La Horra, 800 meters above sea level.
AREA: 164 hectares in total.
AGE: 30 years old on average.
SOIL: Heterogeneous soils with a predominance of clay and sand.
WEATHER CONDITIONS AND HARVEST: The year began with a normal winter which gave way to a mild spring, with a few frosts in May without major consequences for the vines. The year was generally dry, especially during the vegetative cycle, which marked the development of the plants, as well as the size of the bunches and the grapes. The temperature regime during the ripening period was very favourable, with that marked thermal amplitude that characterizes the Ribera and which makes possible the magnificent phenolic maturity of our Tempranillo grapes. The few rains in September contributed to slowing down the end of ripening, without however affecting the quality of the grapes. All of these conditioning factors resulted in grapes that developed on the usual dates and of excellent quality.
AGEING: 14 months in American oak barrels and aging in the bottle until it is released on the market.
TASTING
OVERVIEW: Clean and bright red wine. Beautiful cherry red color with purplish reflections.

MOUTH: Voluminous and silky entry, with a perfectly integrated acidity and a very pleasant, slightly marked tannin. At the end of the mouth, the black fruit is always present, highlighting the blackberry. The wood is very well integrated with notes of toast and vanilla typical of aging in American oak. Medium-high persistence.
