Vineyard and Winemaking - Description: Selected from our own vineyards located in Roa and La Horra, 800 meters above sea level.
Age: 30 years
Harvest: The vinification was carried out using completely traditional methods, with destemming followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aging: The wine was matured for 12 months in American oak barrels, then 24 months in bottle before being placed on the market.
DEGREE: 14,5% vol.
GRAPES: 100% Tempranillo
CATA
COLOR: clean and shiny. Intense garnet color.
NOSE: intense, with aromas of ripe fruit. Slight hint of liquorice with spicy notes due to aging in American oak barrels.
MOUTH: gourmet entry of ripe fruit, fleshy wine, well-integrated acidity, with a round tannin that brings good volume and good length in the mouth. Depth with liquorice aromas.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12 to 14°C.
CONSUMPTION: ready to drink and good development in the bottle. Decant 30 minutes before serving to aerate it. The wine may contain deposits, as it has not been subjected to any filtration process in order to obtain a more natural wine. This does not affect the quality of the wine.
IDEAL WITH: grilled lamb, vine shoot chops, oxtail, suckling pig and semi-cured cheese.
