Blume Sauvignon Blanc is produced in our Pagos del Rey winery, located in the province of Valladolid, in Rueda. It is produced from the international Sauvignon Blanc grape, which originates from France.
The AOC Rueda is a wine region in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, located on the high plateau of Castile and Leon, between two of the most famous wine regions in Spain, in terms of red wine: Ribera del Duero and Toro . The Duero river crosses the area from east to west. Rueda was the first controlled designation of origin to be approved in the region of Castile and Leon (1980). The plateau is characterized by a classic continental climate with long cold winters, short springs and hot summers.

Technical information: Sauvignon blanc grapes are harvested at night at the beginning of October. The cooler temperature allows the grapes to retain their excellent aromatic characteristics. Before being pressed, the must must macerate with the skins for 6 to 8 hours at low temperatures to obtain the maximum expression of the aromas. The wine production process includes meticulous control at all stages to prevent oxidation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a controlled temperature ranging from 14ºC to 16ºC. The result ? Fresh and subtle wine.
