The wettest spring since 1965. The mild temperatures and the absence of frost allowed for an exceptional bud burst. Warmer than normal temperatures in May and June made us think ripening would be in danger, but optimal temperatures in late July and August as well as a few heat waves pushed the cycle forward. Despite a rather wet spring and a few summer thunderstorms, the sanitary condition of the bunches was not affected. The hottest September since 1965, with dramatic temperature changes between night and day, allowed perfect ripening and better than expected yield. The harvest began on October 2 and ended on October 30. The good weather during the harvest made it possible to obtain healthy berries. Too heavy bunches of grapes are eliminated on the sorting table.
12 months in French oak barrels of 225 l from different forests. Once the aging was finished we obtained some 56 different wines depending on the vineyards from which they came and the barrel in which they were in which they were matured. These wines will be blended to obtain the final wine. Bottled at the beginning of June 2020.
