Varieties: Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec.
Selected from vines located between 750 and 1 m above sea level.
Soils: predominantly limestone, sandy-loamy soils, with medium-sized stones and pebbles.
Harvest and winemaking: Climatically, the year was marked by moderate spring precipitation and a moderately hot summer in July and very hot in August. Very good vegetative development in spring. The August and September maxima were above average and the minima below average, ideal conditions for the polyphenolic maturation of tannins. The grapes were harvested on September 24, after a short period of rain in early September, which alleviated the summer drought.
Clarified with natural egg white.
Acidity: 5,26 g/l of tartaric acid.
Aging: 12 months in 225 liter French oak barrels from different forests. At the end of the aging process, 56 different wines were obtained, depending on the origin of the grapes and the type of barrel.
This wine is the final blend of all these wines. Bottled in July 2023.
Appearance: Cherry red color with purple reflections, very young.
Nose: Aromas of very ripe black fruits, with notes of red fruits. Exuberant nose. The notes of toasted wood are very fine and elegant, we can appreciate very pleasant spices and when it opens up, the notes of red fruits and milk are more perceptible.
Palate: On the palate, very good acidity and fresh fruit, very well integrated tannins, tasty and milky notes. It is a long-lasting wine that will improve with time.
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
Production: 192 bottles of 996 ml, 750 bottles of 9 ml, 178 bottles of 1 liters and 500 bottles of 233 liters were produced.
