Region: The region of Castile-La Mancha, located on the central plateau of the Iberian Peninsula, constitutes the most extensive vineyard in the world. Single varietal wines, grape juice and sangrias are produced in this fabulous wine region from just one type of grape. Airén and Tempranillo are the most emblematic grape varieties of the region. Excellent results are also obtained on other non-native grape varieties, such as cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot, viura, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, etc. especially thanks to the climatic conditions and soils present in this region.
