Climate: Continental with a very strong Atlantic influence.
Grapes (%): 94% Mencía., 3% Red grapes: Alicante Bouschet, Gran Negro, Pan y Carne, Negreda. 3% White grape: Jerez, Valenciana, Malvasía.

Viticulture: Based on traditional Bierzo viticultural practices.
Pruning style: Head pruning – bush wines.
Cultivation methods: Mechanical work and animal traction "mules".
Harvest: Selective depending on the village and the site of the vineyard.
Alcoholic fermentation: Wooden and stainless steel vats, looting and pumping over. Indigenous yeasts. Maceration: 31 days. Malolactic fermentation: 2 months in wooden and stainless steel vats. Ageing: 9 months in barrels and bocoys.
Production: 75 cl: 320.000 bottles. 150 cl: 2.576 Magnums.
Lifespan of the wine: Optimum consumption after the first year in the bottle.
