A magnificent, majestic, exuberant wine worthy of aging.
This tasty savory, a classic blend of Bordeaux, is a tribute to the founder of the cellar. It begins its journey in the vineyards of Mediona, 700 meters above sea level.
Its intense red color testifies to a long maceration, just like the deep fruity notes (blackcurrant, plum, blackberry, cherry) which define its aromatic profile, to which are added nuances brought by the oak (cinnamon, cloves, vanilla). When opening in the glass, it also offers echoes of candied fruit, fig cake and toasted aromas. The palate is full and vigorous, with velvety tannins and exuberant sensations of ripe fruit that resurface on an impressive finish. A red worthy of its age that promises to mature beautifully for at least a decade. Matured in very fine-grained French oak barrels for first and second use, it then matures in tuns, then ages for an average of two years in the bottle before being marketed.
Composed of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it is a red of great colouristic intensity with a beautiful dark and deep ruby hue. A masterful balance between volume and elegance. Despite its concentration, it unfolds with fluidity and great length.
