Ingredients: Pasteurized sheep's milk, salt, rennet.
Cerrato cured sheep's cheese is made only with pasteurized sheep's milk from our best pastures, which gives it a characteristic and intense flavor. It is matured for more than 150 days.
Pairing: grilled beers, sweet wines and red wines with fruity touches. Cerrato Oveja Curado goes perfectly with jams, rye bread, anchovies, sour fruits and quince jelly.
Visual appearance: The Cerrato Oveja Curado has a firm and compact interior, with ivory to yellowish tones due to sheep's milk.
Taste: it has an excellent and balanced taste, of medium to high intensity, of sheep's milk and roasted nuts, roasted nuts, caramel or soft caramel. Slightly acidic and salty nuance.
Smell: lactic aromas, reminiscent of butter and intense sweet aromas. Its aromatic profile is very deep and persistent due to its aging. The aromas are a mixture of dairy and animal sensations and brief cellar notes, due to its maturation.
Touch: With slight rough nuances due to ageing.
Tasting advice: To be consumed at an optimal temperature of 16ºC, open at least 20 minutes before serving and leave at room temperature to enjoy all its aroma and all its flavor.
Recommended cut: cubes and wedges about 2 cm thick and about 5 mm thick.
