Region: Like local wines in France, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla is a Spanish protected geographical indication grouping together wines produced in the autonomous region of Castile-La Mancha. Limestone and clay soils are found at an altitude of 700 meters and rainfall is scarce.
Tasting Notes: Dark red color with purple tones. The bouquet combines aromas of red and black fruits. On the palate, this wine presents a perfect blend of tannins and fruits with a rich texture.
Pairing: Enjoy with sausages and mashed potatoes.
Technical information: Strict maturation controls are followed to obtain a well-balanced wine with the right levels of sweetness and acidity. The wine undergoes a cold maceration period which usually lasts 3 to 4 days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature not exceeding 25ºC.
Tasting tips: to serve between 15ºC and 17ºC
