If there is a red wine that describes our philosophy, it is this one. The evolution of the grape varieties makes it a powerful, elegant and persistent wine on the palate, capable of reaching the senses, leaving them face to face with the aromas of leather, tobacco or spices, typical of Cabernet Sauvignon, which they blend with both the floral notes of Cabernet Franc and the very ripe fruit notes of Merlot.
Pure in character and elegance, Avgvstvs Trajanvs is an excellent companion for long winter nights in the warmth of a fireplace.
VARIETIES: Cab. Franc (37,5%), Merlot (22,5%), Tempranillo (15%), Garnatxa Negra (12,5%), Cab. Sauvignon (12,5%)
VINIFICATION: The different varieties that make up this blend were harvested on different dates: early September for Merlot, late September for Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon and early October for Tempranillo and Grenache. They were all produced separately, with different macerations depending on the varieties and subsequent aging in 300 liter French oak barrels for around 21 months on average. In November 2020, they all come out of their boots and let the cold of winter pass to prepare for bottling, with light clarification and filtration.
TASTING NOTES: Produced only in the best vintages, we want to show in this wine the evolution of the grape varieties that compose it. With a beautiful garnet color, the nose is very complex with intense and deep aromas of candied black fruits, balsamic, spices and a background of toasted aromas. On the palate, it is a long, elegant and structured wine. Ideal to accompany any type of meat, stew, barbecue or mature cheeses.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: Best served at a temperature of 16-18°C.
