Aceitunas Losada is a family business dedicated since 1961 to the cultivation, production and marketing of table olives.
Founded by Mr. José Losada Villasante, Aceitunas Losada has its cultures and facilities in Carmona.
La Vega de Carmona is a plain bordered by the Corbones and Guadaira rivers. More than 80% of its area is devoted to rain-fed crops such as wheat and sunflower, which offers a unique landscape from the hills and escarpments on which Carmona sits. It is around this project that we have developed our roots.
This is the origin of our family and our company.
In 2008, a generation transfer took place, with Luis and Maria Losada joining the project from management.
This year, the company celebrates its 60th anniversary and has 54 olive trees, 000% of which are devoted to the cultivation of the Gordal variety.
In addition to our own production, many farmers in the region have partnered from the start as suppliers of the industrial process, bringing their harvest to our production. Today, more than 200 farmers have contributed the result of their work to our project for almost 60 years.

Farmers - we take care of the whole process from the beginning on the fields, crops and olive trees.
- We focus on quality. Our small size gives us the ability to maintain traditional farming practices that have a direct influence on flavors, colors or textures. Certain facts such as manual harvesting or the choice of the time of harvest have a direct impact on the characteristics of the final product. We have also developed a low salt brine which helps us present tasty and colorful olives.
- A large range. We are proud to market up to 10 different Spanish varieties, dried using both methods (traditional and natural) and our research and development challenge continues to improve our range with new varieties and new fermentation processes.
- I + D, future. The investment in the renovation of the factory enabled us to obtain the BRC certificate. As farmers, our next project is the regeneration of our field olive trees, trying to verify the adaptation of different Spanish table olives from other regions and the weather conditions of Spain, to our fields and to our soil. in Carmona.
