XANET ROSÉ is a blend made up of free-range musts of Merlot and Syrah, direct press from Mantonegro and Gorgollassa, and a contribution from Callet, with separate vinifications and 5 months on lees. The right proportion of each of the varieties to become a wonderfully tasty and balanced wine, very versatile and gourmet.
Xanet Rosé has a delicate floral nose with subtle aromas and an elegant and balanced personality. It has a moderate degree of alcohol and a great acidity which brings it freshness. The palate is dry and serious, balanced and tasty.
Can Xanet is a 2 hectare vineyard located in the north of Mallorca, between the towns of Pollensa and Alcúdia, at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. The proximity of the vineyard to the sea makes it possible to benefit from a particular microclimate, because the thermal wind which appears in summer cools the vines, thus preventing too early maturation. They cultivate four varieties of grapes: Merlot, Syrah, Mantonegro and Gorgollassa. In addition, around 1.000 kilos of Callet acquired from an ecological vineyard. After a malolactic fermentation process, 80% of the product is put into new 225L French oak barrels of one, two and three years, and the rest (20%) is put into new 500L barrels of one, two and three years, where it rests for 12 months at controlled temperature and humidity.
