The grapes used for the production of Las Lamas 2019 come from a selection of 1,75 hectares of vineyards located in the municipality of Corullón, near the winery, from which the wine takes its name.
With a southern situation, thanks to which we can obtain good maturities and generous wines.
Fermentation takes place in oak vats with native yeasts, followed by eight months aging in a combination of oak barrels and tuns.
It is an example of a wine made from very clayey, round and winey soils, which is refreshed by the altitude and the slate.
More lactic in the Moncebal, very classic and with fine but grainy tannins.
Anyway, after a few years in the bottle, it becomes a more vinous and rounder wine.
The Moncebal is sharper. Production: 5 bottles, 520 magnums and other large formats.
