Discover the wine that gives the estate its name! Finca Villacreces is the estate's most emblematic wine. It is made from a meticulous selection of the best vines from the 15 plots owned by the estate, perfectly combining the Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties.
Vineyards: old vineyard over 40 years old located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, planted in trellis (cordon royat) around 1980.
Varieties: 86% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Merlot.
Production: malolactic fermentation in wooden vats and French oak barrels.
Aging: 14 months in new French oak barrels.
Tasting: Intense cherry red color with garnet nuances. Powerful aroma of ripe fruit, licorice with mineral and balsamic nuances brought by the cabernet, its complexity is complemented by notes of caramel. On the palate, a fat entry with volume, long and persistent. Tasty with ripe tannins, hints of liquorice, black fruits and coffee.
