TASTING:
APPEARANCE: Clear and shiny. Cherry red color with a purple edge.
NOSE: Intense aroma of black fruits, blackberries and a hint of milk, with the characteristic licorice of the Tempranillo grape, followed by toasted notes like vanilla, caramel and slightly smoky notes from the aging process in oak barrels American.
MOUTH: It is a powerful wine, fleshy at the entrance, with a remarkable balance between tannins and acidity. The palate is full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins that fill the mouth with a fruity taste rounded off by lingering toasted notes, liquorice, caramel and caramel. The aftertaste is long and pleasant.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ºC
CONSUMPTION: Medium / long-term aging wine, ideal to drink over the next 10 years. Decant 30 minutes before serving to aerate it.
PAIRING: Ideal with grilled meats, carpaccio, roast lamb, chuletillas al sarmiento (grilled lamb chops), roast suckling pig and semi-hard cheeses.
VINIFICATION: The production process is completely traditional, with destemming and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
